Paul comes to Mechanical Systems, Inc. from Utah, where he spent 18 years learning the construction industry through his family’s construction company. When he headed east and stopped in Cheyenne, it turned into a fortunate break for the company—his work ethic, commitment, and positive attitude have made him a natural fit. A specialist in site utilities, Paul now manages all site utility estimating and project management responsibilities. He enjoys Wyoming’s fresh air, friendly people, strong sense of community, spending time with family, music, and church.

 

Paul says his favorite part of the job is the variety of projects he gets to tackle and the chance to work with great teammates and supportive partners.

26 years of service

After graduating from the University of Wyoming in 1996, Matt started his career with the Wyoming State Engineer’s Office. He then spent two years with Peter Kiewit before joining Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 1999. Over the past 25 years with Mechanical Systems, Inc., Matt has worked in all phases of the business and currently manages all mechanical estimating and preconstruction services. Matt is a current board member of the Wyoming Construction Coalition, Cheyenne LEADS and serves as the Assistant Arena Director for Cheyenne Frontier Days. His appreciation of Wyoming’s small population, stunning scenery, easy access to the great outdoors, and the general mindset of the west serve him well as he pursues his love of ropin’ and ridin’ in his spare time.
