PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Mechanical Systems, Inc. furnished and installed the complete plumbing, mechanical and controls system for the University of Wyoming. This facility will provide heating water, as well as chilled water to the West campus. The project consisted of seven new boilers, with room for an additional nine boilers with future expansion. The pump package consisted of several 100 horsepower and 50 horsepower pumps to supply heating water, as well as chilled water from a newly constructed chilled water storage tank. Multiple heat exchangers were also installed to make use of the existing steam system on campus, while taking full advantage of the efficiency and dependability of a modern boiler system.
