Steam, Chilled and Hot Water Mains Infrastructure

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Mechanical Systems, Inc. was a hired for the installation of 4,000 lf of 12” steel pipe with HDPE insulated jacket hot water supply and return mains and anchors; installation of 2,000 lf of 10” through 3” steel hot/chilled water, steam and condensate pipe inside a new tunnel;  4,000 lf of 14” and 16” HDPE chilled supply and return water mains; 4,000 lf of 4” HDPE compressed air and communications conduit; 24 specialized gate valves ranging in size from 4” to 16”, and air vents. This infrastructure weaves through the campus and streets.
